I have been sitting with Trading Desks for a few weeks now. Commodities Desk is just besides me. I overheard them talking about China many times. Today I had a conversation with one of the traders and he told me the directors are very keen to develop Chinese market. This news made my day. What more, two of the traders used to work with an old friend of mine! I hope this will develop to something more concrete soon because I so much want to use my Chinese background! It should be my uniqueness rather than drawback!

最近因为工作的关系坐在交易部，听到他们经常提到中国，我便和他们攀谈起来。他们说上面很有意开拓中国市场，也急需会讲中文的人。我便毛遂自荐。一直以来都在纯英国公司做，我的中国背景从未排上用场，反倒是我的不及人之处。但愿但愿，这件事可以早日落实。

It has been more than a week now, rain, rain, rain ... "Typical English weather!" I'm telling myself. But it's not true. We had a beautiful April. I remember those sunny and warm dates, warm like summer... see, it raised my expectation! Global Warming is the hottest topic at the moment, but how many people don't want a real hot hot summer? I know I do!

I'm now lying in my bed, listening to a new CD called Fleur De Paris --- sounds like Shanghai in 1930s --- mimi zhi yin. It's still raining outside. Looking out of my Velux window, the sky is grey, the rain is knocking on the glass. I have my lamp on, low light. I can see some steam floating in the air ... and I suddenly fell in love with the rainy evening.

Today is a lucky day for me, even it's raining. In my lucky days, I feel on top of the world. There is nothing, nothing can let me down. My future is full of hope. In my blue days, everything is just miserable, miserable, hopeless, depressing.... and I just let myself drift between highs and lows...
